The Vendor Value Workshop is a creative mix of strategy retreat, problem-solving workshop & innovation hackathon for legal vendors searching for R.O.I. from the virtual events, trade shows & conferences they sponsor.


Invitation Only

Attendance is limited to just 25 vendors. To ensure honest dialog & meaningful conversations, no trade show or conference organizers are allowed.

Participate as a Team

Each company can bring three team members to the VVW, including a sales executive, a marketing professional, and a thought leader.

Pay What’s Fair

Because this is a workshop about value, participants get a “blank invoice” after the event and agree to pay an amount that equals the value they’ve received.



Agenda + Outcomes

Over four virtual sessions utilizing an innovative combination of real-time engagement and facilitated collaboration, attendees will work together to design creative solutions to these challenges as they banish “But we’ve always done it this way…” thinking from our new normal for good.

One: Rethink the Virtual Conference Model / 12/15/20 / 11:00 - 1:30 E

There’s never been a better time to design conferences for the new future we want vs. the old one we expected. Work with your peers to explore value-driven event formats and design win-win-win partnership models benefiting vendors, conferences, and attendees.

Two: Reimagine the Online Exhibit Hall / 12/16/20 / 11:00 - 1:30 E

The days of vendors being relegated to practically-empty virtual exhibit halls is over. We’ll find new ways to connect with event attendees and communicate with them in creative ways — all without having to hand out virtual pens.

Three: Redefine the Metrics We Measure / 12/17/20 / 11:00 - 1:30 E

Are there better ways to measure “success” from participation in online events — and connect that with the dollars you’re asked to pay — beyond email addresses or virtual badge scans? We’ll develop alternative measures better suited to virtual engagements than in-person ones.

Four: Reclaim the Power in Our Partnerships / 12/18/20 / 11:00 - 1:30 E

In our final session, we’ll begin to draft our Manifesto — and discuss ways we might empower our conference partners to adopt more innovative event models and methods that deliver value to everyone.

Five: The Conversation Continues / 2021 - 2022

Once the Workshop is “over,” the real work begins. Attendees will be invited to join a private community for continued conversation, access to new conference models, and a library of “lessons learned” from all the experiments and pilots we try in 2021.
